Axle Connect
Connect Axle to your own AI assistant, Claude or ChatGPT, and do your work by asking. Sign in with the same Axle login you use every day. The assistant sees exactly what you can see, and nothing else.
Every answer comes from your own Axle session. No tool accepts a worker, company or workforce as input, so you cannot be asked about someone else's work, and nobody can be asked about yours.
Connect in two minutes
In Claude — one tap:
The link opens Claude’s Add custom connector box with the name and address already filled in. Claude shows you that the values came from a link and asks you to confirm; nothing is added until you do. Then click Connect and sign in at the Axle community as usual.
Or by hand: open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it Axle Connect,
and paste https://connect.axlefoundation.com/mcp
Once it is connected, start a new chat and ask. Naming it helps the first time: “Use Axle: what am I on today?”
In ChatGPT: the same address works as a connector where your ChatGPT plan allows custom connectors; ChatGPT currently gets the six read tools its lane has accepted (who I am, my jobs, job detail, my tickets, ticket detail, recent activity), and gains others as they are accepted there.
You need an active Axle partner community login. If you can sign in at axlefoundation.com, you have it. On a phone, the same steps are under the menu in the top-left of the Claude app.

What it can do today
- Who I Am At Workread onlyWho the signed-in worker is at Axle: their name, their company, and the workforces they hold an active seat on. Call this first in a conversation, or whenever the worker asks who Axle thinks they are, which company they are connected as, or why they cannot see something.
- My Ticketsread onlyThe transport tickets assigned to you as driver. Use when the worker asks what loads, hauls or runs they have. Returns newest first.
- Open A Ticketread onlyDetail for one of the worker's own transport tickets, by ticket number. Handles a partial or misread number by returning the tickets that match so the worker can be asked which one — use this when reading a number off a paper ticket or a photo.
- What I Have Been Doingread onlyThe worker's own recent activity across Axle: tickets they moved, hours they logged, and safety records they filed. Use for 'what have I done this week', catching up after time off, or checking whether something they submitted actually went in.
- My Jobsread onlyThe jobs you are seated on. Use when the worker asks what they are assigned to, what is open, or what they are working on.
- Job Detailread onlyDetail for one job, by its number (for example 00005837). Only returns jobs you are seated on.
- My Hoursread onlyHours you have logged. Use when the worker asks about their time, their hours this week, or what they logged on a job.
- My Jobsitesread onlyJobsites reachable through the workforces you are seated on. Use when the worker asks where they are working or what sites they can attend.
- My Safety Fileread onlySafety records you personally filed: hazards, incidents and inspections. Use when the worker asks what they reported or wants to check a submission went in.
- Today's Workread onlyWhat the worker is on right now: their transport tickets that are dispatched, confirmed or picked up, plus anything scheduled or due today. Use for 'what am I on today', 'show me my dispatch', or 'what's next'. No rates or amounts are ever included.
- My Safety Ticketsread onlyThe worker's own safety tickets and certifications (orientations, H2S, first aid and the like) with expiry dates, plus their driver's licence class and expiry. Use when the worker asks what tickets they hold, what is expiring, or whether they are current for a site.
- My Hours Statementread onlyA statement of the hours the worker logged over a date range: the total for the window, a breakdown by job and by day, and the most recent entries with their type, description and approval status. Use when the worker asks for their hours for a pay period, a week or a month, how much they logged on a particular job, or wants to check what went in before a timesheet is queried. Defaults to the last 14 days. No rates, costs or amounts are ever included.
- My Unit & Gearread onlyThe power unit and trailer(s) assigned to the worker on each workforce they hold an active seat on, plus the unit and trailer on the transport ticket they are currently on (dispatched, confirmed or picked up). Use when the worker asks what truck they are in, which trailer they are pulling, what unit number they are assigned, or whether the unit on their ticket matches the one on their seat. Never includes rates, costs or amounts.
- My Ticket Boardread onlyThe worker's own ticket board across transport, service and rental tickets: full counts by family and status, what needs attention (problem, declined, waiting or on-hold tickets, flagged tickets, overdue transport), what was updated in a period, and the newest tickets listed with links. Use when the worker asks what tickets are open, overdue, stuck or need attention, or for a situation report on their tickets. Covers tickets assigned to the worker only — a workforce-wide board is not available yet. Filters: workforce, one of the worker's workforce locations, families, statuses, closed included or not, period (default today, up to 31 days), limit (25, max 50). No rates or amounts are ever included.
- My Workforce Locations Sitrepread onlyA situation report on the locations associated with the worker's own workforces: each location with its type, city and province, the kind of association and which of the worker's workforces it is on; the worker's own transport tickets (as driver) and service tickets (as assigned worker) at each location — current counts by status, work scheduled or due in the period, overdue and problem tickets that need attention; and, separately, the worker's own open check-ins by workforce. Use when the worker asks for a sitrep or overview of their sites or locations, what is going on at a particular site, or which locations their workforce covers. Defaults to today in the worker's timezone; a period of up to 31 days can be asked for. Lists up to 50 locations and gives full counts for all of them. Never includes rates, costs or amounts.
- My Workforce Reportread onlyA situation report on the worker's own place in a workforce: their role on it, what they are assigned to, their recorded work by status across transport, service and rental tickets, their duty status, and what needs their attention (overdue or problem tickets, expiring safety tickets). Use for 'give me a sitrep on my workforce' or 'where do I stand'. Own view only; it says exactly which sections were read completely. No rates or amounts.
- Overall Situation Reportread onlyOne combined situation report for the signed-in worker: their workforce, their tickets across transport, service and rental, and their workforce's locations, in a single answer with the top line first, everything needing attention ranked, what could not be read, and the natural follow-up questions. Use for 'give me a sitrep', 'what's my day look like', or a handover. Reads only what the worker is allowed to see; no rates or amounts.
- Photos On A Recordread onlyLists the files on one of the worker's own records — a transport or service ticket, a field hazard, an incident report, a maintenance request or an inspection — with each file's name, type and when it was added. Use to confirm a photo the worker just added through a photo link actually saved, or when they ask what photos are on a record. Returns names and times only, never the files themselves.
- My Requestsread onlyThe work requests the worker can see: the ones they raised themselves, the ones raised under a workforce they are on, and the ones sent to a workforce they are on to fill. Each shows its status, when it is needed by, where, who it is for, and any ticket it has already been turned into. Use when the worker asks what they have requested, whether a request went in, what is still open, or what has been asked of their workforce. Open requests by default; ask for 'all', 'closed', or one status. Never includes rates, prices or amounts.
- Leads I Addedread onlyThe sales leads the worker has added or been referred on, with the company, who they spoke to, the status and which Salesforce it went to. Use when the worker asks what leads they have put in, or what happened to one they added. Shows their own leads only.
- Tickets I'm Onread onlyEvery ticket the worker is connected to, in any way — driving it, dispatching it, asking for it, shipping it, or receiving it — across transport, service and rental. Use when the worker asks what they have on the go, what they sent out, what they asked for, or what is coming to them, rather than only what is assigned to them. Gives a count for each way they are connected and lists the most recent, open ones first. No rates or amounts.
Tools marked asks you to confirm will change your own records once writing is switched on; until then they gather the details, show you the entry, and stop. Rates, costs and pay are never included in any answer.
Your company stays in control
A connection can be switched off at your company's request: Axle turns it off, and the next question you ask is refused with a plain explanation rather than a wrong answer. Letting company administrators see and manage connections from inside Axle themselves is being built.
Disconnect
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, choose Axle, and disconnect. Your Axle account is untouched; the connector simply stops being able to ask on your behalf.
Privacy and support
What the connector keeps, and for how long, is set out in the privacy policy. Questions and security concerns: support@axlefoundation.com.
